Role Overview:
In this sole charge position, you'll take on a multifaceted role that extends beyond traditional customs brokerage. Your responsibilities will include managing import and export clearances, coordinating deliveries, and providing advisory services on customs and quarantine requirements. You will also have the opportunity to grow into developing the company's Customs Consulting business, identifying opportunities, and contributing to internal productivity initiatives.

About You:
The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in customs brokerage. Although experience in customs consulting is valued, it is not essential and can be developed on the job. A current Customs Broker Licence and familiarity with Cargowise are required. The successful candidate should be well-presented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organisational skills, along with a professional demeanour and keen attention to detail, are essential. A proactive and energetic approach, combined with a commitment to seeking improvements and initiating change, is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strive to meet and surpass KPIs while contributing to the company's consulting services.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure seamless import/export processes.
- Offer consultancy through customs audits, potentially identifying compliance improvements and generating additional revenue.
- Engage with import clients and overseas agents, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Attend sales calls, assist in closing new business, and maintain strong client relationships.
